I have made my bed today.

Sleepy headed dreams

Are coming here to stay.

Now I see them land

All in colour.

I can’t wait to stand

On a land

Far away.

Hear the return of the spacemen,

Floating in the capsule

Way up in the sky.

Men and women both

Eating space food,

Dressed in spaceman clothes,

Making tea.

Soon the spacemen will go Mars,

Landing on the red world,

Looking for a scene.

I will wait for them,

Starship Captain.

All the planets,

Then to the stars

On their way.
